The end of another year...

In a blink of an eye, 2008 is nearing an end. Much has happened this year...
This year I managed to have some of the best times in my life @ Block E Sherfield Hall; but I also had an extremely stressful final year with my fair share of tears and breakdowns.
This year I deepened a friendship which, hopefully will last a lifetime but I lost another equally valuable friend through the passage of time and the inevitable progress in life.
This year I found someone dear - a person who has been there for me through thick and thin, guiding and supporting me all the way; but I also lost someone very dear - a person whom I admire, who had seen me grown from a wee baby to who I am today, who had taught me a lot of the principles in life that I know today.
This year I have finally graduated; but I have been thrust into a whole different world that had left me bewildered, confused and lost.
This year I have learned to cook (quite well, if I may say so myself); but I have suffered multiple burns from the oven in the process.
This year I have learned a lot; but I have also had my fair share of down moments.
All in all, I have gained a lot of valuable experiences and important insights about life. It was not a perfect year. In fact, being a Tiger, I have had downright bad luck with numerous injuries to the self and losses (both physical and emotional).
But after all is said and done, I still have a long way in front of me and the most important thing is to move on forward. So I would like to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and may good fortune shine our ways through 2009!!!
