The sun: It's approaching summer and I realised that the day is getting longer bit by bit. It's refreshing to get off work and see the sky still bright. And it's great to go out at 7am and see the sun already out. The weather is getting more and more pleasant. *pleased*
Peacock: Saw one on the street browsing the shops while I was waiting for the bus to work one morning *swt*
Brother: Stoopid one form US called today to brag about him passing his first of a series of professional papers. Am damn happy for him and glad that he still knows to staudy despite the many distractions around him. Speaking of which, have not seen him for almost two years! And the bugger going back to Msia again this summer *jealous*
While on the bus: Saw the cutest baby in a pram with his father, who keeps making sounds like, "Da, Da, Da!" or "Uh, uh, uh!" in his lil' high pitched voice *super cute!*
On the way to bus station after work: Passed by this girl who had her hair highlighted with dark blue and thought, "Damn, my freaking hair was once purple (ish red)!" Now my hair's been un-dyed for two years and I actually kinda like the natural colour - BUT I do have the occasional urge to have it dyed *conflicting emotions*
On bus 342 home: Saw a guy with his schnauzer sititng next to me and I thought of Gypsy!!! *super misses her*
Work: Was apprehensive about it. Then was enjoying it coz I learned a lot and it pushes me past my own boundaries. Now I'm a bit stressed and need to pace myself better to not let it overwhelm me. But still, am earning £££ so havta bite the bullet and bear with it *be positive, be positive*
Msia: I miss the people and the food, esp when I thought about all the things that I did not manage to do when I was back *sullen*
Family: Mum and Dad insisted on buying me a laptop as I was damn kiamsap to get one. BUT with me now working and all, I just couldn't take it - damn paiseh la. But feel damn loved nonetheless. *happiness*
Bath: A great place to work at. Nice scenery and all. Sat at the benches beside Bath Abbey sometimes and eat sausage roll form Greggs while listening to street performers sing. *bliss*
Cooking: Had damn a lot of experiments around Jan and Feb. Whipped up quite a lot of nice dishes. But now, eat instant noddles twice a week with simple easy-to-cook meals for the rest of the days. *tiredness*
Phone: I need a new mobile. Am still using w800i which was bought over 4 years ago. Right after I finish A Level. Now it's 3 years of Law school and 1 year after graduation on. And to think I used to change to a new model every 12 months. Now couldn't even get excited about any new models - not even iPhone (not really). *lethargic*
Economy: Does not look like it's getting any better any time soon, exp in UK. And that makes me lose ard RM3000 every month in terms of exchange rate. *angry*
Books: Am rekindling my passion for reading. Had missed out on a lot of good-ol' me time when I would curl up in some corner and immerse myself in the story. Started and finished 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' (finally!), and now on 'State of the Union'. *contented*
Camera: I need a new one too. My pink casio one is half-dead on life support. And I want a DSLR! *stamps feet*
That's as much as I can remember now but it's a nice change to be aware of little things happening around me - makes me feel alive =)
